The All Man’s Right

In Scandinavia we have the all-man’s-right, and we’re proud of it. It’s every man’s right by law to hike and set up a tent (almost) wherever — no matter if the land is privately owned. It is a right based on mutual respect, and the desire for full freedom to roam.

The All Man’s Right sweater has its roots in Norwegian culture, and we also aim to bring you something that would fit in the basic clothing kit of every man or woman. This sweater is a basic human right.

Every sweater is tailored to your measurements, and therefore is no fast-food product. About 40 knitting hours goes into each sweater, but it is well worth the wait.

Also, 100% wool sweaters demand a little more care than your average hoodie.

In order to tailor your sweater, we need some measurements

Hot Tip: Pick out your favorite sweater from the closet and measure it.

The girth of the widest part of your chest. (Or the chest width of your favorite sweater times two.)
From the shoulder to the end of the arm.
From the armpit, all the way to the bottom.
If your upper arm is especially wide, please measure its girth near the shoulder.

Each product comes with a Certificate of Authenticity — a card signed with the initials of the one who knit it — and a hand written Norwegian proverb (in Norwegian).

Beanies and socks may seem surprisingly small when you first open them. That is to allow for the stretching that occurs when wearing natural wool.
